Leigh Goldstein’s new CD “Lonely Tears “ is being played on the following radio stations. WBCZ FM in NJ, WRSU FM – NJ and WITR in Rochester NY. He opened for Huey Lewis and the News at The Keswick Theater in 2001, and he opened for Phil Roy at The Point in Bryn Mawr, Pa in Sept of 2001. He has played shows throughout the Philadelphia area at places such as Twisters Cafe in Haddon Heights NJ, Narberth Park Summer Fest, The Downs Cultural Center in Wilmington, De., 3 Beans Coffee House in New Jersey, & The Sun Music Company in NY City. He has appeared at the Borders store in Bryn Mawr, Pa and he has headlined shows at SOS in Ambler PA, The Gryphon Café, The Cloud in Haddonfield New Jersey, and he has performed in the WXPN sponsored Newton Colony Arts Festival. Leigh's music has been described as a cross between Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, and Randy Newman without the irony, with a touch of Marc Cohn thrown in. Leigh has also performed live on the Gene Shay radio show on WXPN in Philadelphia. He helped raise over $ 5000.00 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, by organizing an all star musical benefit in October of 2001. His songs are full of great melodies, strong hooks, and his distinctive bass-baritone voice is relaxing and pleasing to hear. His stage show is often humorous with an excellent mix of catchy melodic pop style songs. He is a piano oriented singer songwriter. He has a website -
